The Secretary General is the Chief Executive Officer in charge of Kenya Model United Nations. The SG ensures a smooth running of the society and ensures the success of the Society. The office of the Secretary General is supported by key Executive Offices that perform critical functions. The offices are :

  • Executive Assistant Office
  • KenyaMUN Foundation Office
  • The Strategy Office
  • The Membership office
  • The Projects Office
  • The Alumni Relations office

Office of the Executive Assistant

This is the apex position of leadership in the Office of the Secretary General.

Its function is to coordinate and oversight the workings of all other offices under the Office of the Secretary General.

The office sets Key Performance Indicators and monitors the achievement of various targets and deadlines. This office reports directly to the Secretary General.

It is the official channel of communication between the Secretary General and the other Executive offices.

Additionally, it offers any support required by the Secretary General.

Model United Nations Kenya Foundation

This is the official CSR branch of MUN Kenya.

Its objective is to impact the community positively through its various activities and events.

The Foundation appreciates that not everyone in society may be as privileged as the members of MUN Kenya.

Consequently, it endeavours to tag along both members and non-members of the Society in attaining the Mission and Vision of MUN Kenya.

Alumni Relations Office

This office is the custodian of MUN Kenya alumni welfare and engagement.

It seeks to engage MUN Kenya Alumni in activities and events held by the Society. Moreover, it organizes networking opportunities among MUN Kenya Alumni and between present MUN Kenya members and alumni.

The office is also tasked with preserving alumni database in trust on behalf of the Society.

Membership Office

This office is tasked with the responsibility of preserving a database on the members of MUN Kenya. It tracks Member and Chapter participation in activities.

The office also maintains the welfare of Member Chapters while attracting more prospective Member Chapters.

Projects Office

This office is tasked with the mandate of formulating frameworks for long term MUN Kenya projects. It also offers technical support to other MUN Kenya organs or offices in the formulation of execution of projects.

Strategy Office

This Office is mandated with the task of formulating and monitoring the implementation of the MUN Kenya Strategic Plan. It structures Key Performance indicators for all MUN Kenya Organs and Offices in ensuring the realization of the Strategic Plan.

Moreover, it crafts solutions to challenges facing the Society and enacts measures geared towards ensuring seamless operation of the Society.

International Relations

This is the Office in charge of the development and maintenance of relationships between MUN Kenya and its affiliated organizations abroad. It also cultivates partnerships between the Society and International Organizations based in the country.
